You all guessed it...

Blogger won't let me post a picture right now, so I'll make today's entry brief while I bring my photo's in the more time consuming way.

YESTERDAY'S NAME THAT FOOD WINNER IS...

LESLIE at EAT PEACE PLEASE posted her guesses within minutes of my post. She guessed all but one, but later came back with a page number for the #3 mystery: P 96 Molasses Baked Beans. KAJI'S MOM was the first to guess #3 as molasses baked beans.

Thanks to others who participated:
Veronica at Primary Consumer
Johanna 3 in Puerto Rico
Cherie at Utopian Kitchen (non beta, but post as anonymous)

KITTEN UPDATE:

Another shout out to my new blog to receive an interesting view of the foster kittens and other abandoned cats I have staying with me. The cream puff is still alive, still bottle fed, and seems to be the "runt" of the bunch. I think cream puff is a she . . . not positive because they are so little. She is also non competitive and still won't compete for food, but she does take the bottle. The other three are doing fine.
FELINE PAL FAMILY

CRAFT:
Matthew will be home this afternoon and we will be starting on his renaissance faire costume.

LUNCHBOX:

Melissa took a carob bread machine sandwich (recipe from Weenie at Live It Up Vegan) with almond butter and bananas on it, salad with tomatoes, candied peanuts, and cantaloupe pieces.

Have a great weekend all. I'll be away crafting. Maybe I'll have a picture of Matt's costume when I come back. Please know non beta blogs if you do not accept anonymous posts I cannot post, but I am still reading.

Groovy lunch box for the day. Carob bread? Wow! That is awesome. Will have to check out the happenin's at Live It Up Vegan.

Can't wait to see what you craft, Dori.

I have had an impossible time posting anything the last couple of days as well, photos and even type. Oh well. There're much more important things to be concerned about, so i guess i'll try later on!!

Wishing the kitties a healthy beginning to a wonderful life...

May you have a lovely weekend and sending good thoughts to you and your family, Dori!

I'm with Kleo on the carob bread. How cool.

Everything looks so tasty in the food pics from yesterday too :)

That's great you have a blog dedicated to the foster kittens. I'll definitely be reading. Glad to hear the other three are doing fine and least the other one will take the bottle.

Hope you have a great weekend :)

It’s so great that you’re helping animals in need! I love kitties, but I’m really a dog person at heart. Jason and I have talked about fostering a dog when we move into something a little bigger than our current little apartment, whenever that is.

As usual, all your food has got me hungry. Almost lunch time here.

Have a fun weekend, can’t wait to see Matt’s costume and whatever other crafty things you come up with.

I'm having blogger issues as well. I'm glad the kittens are doing good.

Good luck with Matt's costume. I can't wait to see a pic.

Have a great weekend.

I was drooling over Weenie's carob bread also. It sounds so good. My list of desserts to make is quickly piling up.

Have a great weekend Dori! I like the little fishy by the way, but I think you're much cuter. The farm girl pic of you with your baskets is one of my favorite pics (of all time) don't ask me why - I know that's kind of weird. It's just so happy and healthy and earthy. You are collecting fresh produce in baskets for crying out loud.

Blogger is SO annoying. I feel like it was a downgrade rather than an upgrade.

Anyway, thanks for the kitty update. Glad Cream Puff and her sibs are doing well, thanks to Dori the Angel.

Lunch looks great--Melissa is such a lucky girl.

Can't wwait to see the costume.

Hope you have a great crafting weekend Dori.

Never thought about doing carob bread. That must be very different.

Will have to look at the Beta thing I suppose. Will set my comments to annonymous posting in the meanwhile.

HERE you are! this blogging thing is driving me CARZY! why do thye have to change what used to work?

or did it?

carob bread...interesting. after my zucchini bread fiasco i'm turned off by homemade bread. today im making Dreena's potato leek casserole. sounds good since the weather is getting colder and that just sounds comforting...do't it??

I like your lunchboxes! You have some talent. :)

The kitten is so small. I don't think I've seen one that tiny up close. Must be breathtaking. Cherie

God bless you and thank you for fostering and caring about homeless animals! I volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter in Denver and I just admire those who foster more than I can express. This is the link to my shelter:
